With the energy industry gaining an increasingly global role, and with the increasing need for access to electricity, distribution companies have increasingly invested in the inspection and maintenance of power transmission lines. Regular inspection of assets makes it possible to significantly reduce breakdowns or supply cuts, as preventive maintenance can be planned and carried out in advance.
In addition to this, local authorities responsible for supervising these processes have also created increasingly demanding regulations that include the implementation of programs to improve safety, such as reducing the number of fires started in concessionaire assets. Overhead power line failures can cause fire outbreaks and result in large wildfires, leading to loss of life, property, and wildlife.

LIDAR
The aerial inspection in a manned helicopter, gains a great advantage in relation to other types of inspections – inspections with UAV or even inspections on the ground. With this solution, there are no load or energy supply restrictions, which allows us to operate for long periods, install equipment with greater collection capacity and more efficient.
In addition to these advantages, it also gains in daily production, which can be up to 20x higher compared to UAV data acquisition.
Our process
Acquisition
Here we adjust the type of data collection that best suits our customer’s needs. After the defined area of interest, the aerial survey is carried out, either to collect LIDAR data or to collect RGB images or thermal images.
Processing and analysis
After processing, the data is loaded into custom algorithms and numerical and vector computation is preceded.
Reports
Analysis reports are provided in a format suited to the customer's needs.
Web Mapping
As a value-added product, we provide an online viewer for LiDAR data, RASTER data, vector data and reports.
